Scripture Passages to Live By
As a kid I clung to quotes that kept me grounded—Thumper’s “If you can’t say anything nice…” and Romans 8:38-39’s promise that nothing can separate us from God’s love. Years later a spiritual director invited me to choose one verse as an anchor for the year; Zephaniah 3:17 became that rock, reminding me the Father delights in me and gives strength I could never find on my own.
